Einini Early Years Baby Signing

Musical signing for babies, toddlers and beyond!
For all families with little ones learning the magic of language and communication – whatever age or stage they are at. We use songs, rhymes, musical instruments, toys and puppets to help learn simple signs so that you can use them at home.
Whether you’re singing, playing, listening to a story or catching bubbles together, it’s the ideal time to bond and relax with your little ones. Older siblings love it too, as learning a few simple signs can be a magical way to communicate with the new baby in the family – who will soon be signing back to you!

Using signs gives another element to the spoken word and enables youngsters
to communicate with their hands before they can fully verbalise what they want or how they might be feeling. Babies just love it, it’s like experiencing language in 3-D. The signs we use are based on common signs used in baby signing, as well as Lámh and ISL.

FoodCloud

FoodCloud is ‘a social enterprise with a mission to transform surplus food into opportunities to make the world a kinder place‘. FoodCloud connects business which have surplus food with Charities and Community Groups that are in need of it.

We are members of FoodCloud through their Cork Hub in Little Island. Every Monday we text those who are signed up to our FoodCloud Programme and let them know they can collect food that afternoon at the centre. This programme is run through-out the year and is open to all.
